Note | Gabriel Friend was fined 40 shillings on June 8, 1697. Edward Shippen, Gr. Owen and T. Story, a Quotum of the late Commissioners, by their order, dated the 20th of the first mo., 1710-11, granted to Gabriel Friend a Licence to feed upon an Island in Delaware at the Mouth of Schoykill so many hogs as he Show'd think fitt for one year, then next ensuing he paying to the Proprietor one fatt hogg of the value of 30 shill'gs or the Said Sum, and taking Care of the wood thereon.
