Note
 1. Lived entire married life in Washington Co., TN where all of the children were born. Sources: Kenneth M. Waddell, The Waddell Family; Census of 1850, Washington Co., TN (GS ser no 5838) (GS ser no 5560, p 9); census of 1870, Washington Co, TN (GS Ser. No 5563, p 15); Jefferson Co, Tennessee Wills (Adam Gann).

Circumstantial evidence: 1 - Daniel was born in 1777 in NC. Clement was there with other Gann family members. 2 - in 1796, Daniel and Clement are charged in court together. I have copies of the documents here. Daniel would have been 18 at this time. Earlier this week, I double checked with Judge John Kiener of Washington County and he stated that under the common law at that time (NC Laws), 18 was considered as an adult, hence Daniel could be charged, etc. 3 - in 1801, Daniel shows up on the Washington Count tax list next to Clement. Daniel has a white poll, etc. Daniel would have been 24 at this data. 4 - in 1814, Clement sells part of his land to Daniel, 61 acres of land "where they now live." This phrase is written into the deed details. 16 Sep 1814, sells 61 acs. for $500 to Daniel Gann “…where they now live,” a part of the 150 acres. Clement bought on 14 Jul 1785. Clement is70 yrs. old.
