Note | Listed on 1910 Delaware Co, OK census. Injuries suffered in a fall from a scaffold in Tulsa March 30 were fatal Thursday afternoon for Joe N. Gann, Rt. 1, Salina. Mr. Gann, 51, died in a hospital here where he had been taken after slipping from a scaffold at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.'s new building at 56th St. N. and Peoria Ave. Deputy Sheriff Houston Johnson said Mr. Gann fell about five feet and landed on a ladder. He suffered internal injuries. He was employed by the National Mason Co. His wife, Cynthia, survives. Obituary, Prior Creek Daily Times--Funeral services for Joe N. Gann, 51, Salina, who died in the Hillcrest hospital, Tulsa, April 14, were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Salina high school gymnasium with the Rev. Jake Gage officiating. Interment was in the Southwest City cemetery, Southwest City, Mo., directed by Jim Green funeral home. Mr. Gann was taken to the hospital March 31, after he was injured in a fall while working with the New Bell Telephone Company on North Peoria street in Tulsa. He was a bricklayer's helper and a member of the Internation Hod Carriers Union. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cynthis Gann, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Jo Morgan, Tulsa; Miss Geraldine Gann, Miss Betty Mae Gann and Miss Agnes Gann, all of the home; three brothers, Budd, Mark and Joe Gann, all of Salina; one sister, Mae O'Dell, Salina; three grandchildren. |
