Note | Grady R. Gann, 96, of Durant passed away January 3, 2010 at his home in Durant. Grady was born December 17, 1914 in Gravely, Arkansas to Joseph Gann and Rebecca A. (Roden) Gann. Grady married Gladys Bohanon in Antlers, OK on October 8, 1934 and they moved from the Pushmataha County area to Bryan County in 1956. Grady was a member of Abundant Life Temple, he was a postal carrier for the rural area and he loved working puzzles. Durant Daily Democrat; Wednesday January 5, 2011 He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 68 years, daughter Rosemary Dunmon, son Waylon Gann, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, son-in-law Tommy Ramos and a great granddaughter. Grady is survived by his daughters Clione Ramos of Durant and Farene Freeman of Texas, grandsons Mark Ramos and wife Shawn of Boswell, Clark Dunmon of Leonard, TX, Lance Dunmon and wife Tammy of Leonard, TX. and Vincent Freeman and wife Joy of Fort Worth, TX, granddaughters Melesa Fraze and husband Billy of Durant and Andrea Lombardi of Tampa, FL, son-in-law B. C. Dunmon, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Grady will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Abundant Life Temple with Pastor Tim Cox officiating and Leonard Freeman sharing the eulogy. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant. Family hour will be Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Brown's Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons and greats grandsons.
