Obituary Monday, December 4, 1967: Johnson--Mrs. Nennie I., 82, Route One, Hale Road, Hixson, Tenn., died in a Chattanooga hospital Sunday night. She was the daughter of the late William and Tennessee Gann Davidson, pioneer settlers of north Hamilton County, and the widow of Frank Johnson. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Joe P. Cash, Hixson; Miss Myrtle Johnson, Hixson; one son, Mitchell Johnson, Hixson; one brother, Mendel Davidson, Soddy; one sister, Mrs. W. C. Carter, Soddy; one granddaughter, Sharon Gail Cash, Hixson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the chapel of the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Frank Rich. Interment will follow in Dividing Ridge Cemetery. Active paullbearers will be Arnold Gann, Walter Creasman, Oliver Aytes, Lee Davidson, Gomer Lewis and Bob Loveday.
