Gann, 81, Nyssa, who died Feb. 16, 1982, in an Ontario hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa, by the Rev. Wayne Haas of the Nyssa Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Nyssa Cemetery. She was born Jan. 2, 1901, in Lampasas, Texas. In 1903, she moved with her family to a homestead in Tulsa County, Okla. She married Owen Gann on April 3, 1918, in Guymon, Okla. They lived in Stevens County, Kan., until 1936, when they moved to Nyssa. She was a member of Yellow Rose Rebekah Lodge No. 202. Survivors include her husband of Nyssa; three daughters, Mrs. Burton (Paulene) Richey of Harper, Ore., Mrs. Walter (Fayetta) Looney of Nyssa and Mrs. Daniel (Joye) Norland of Pomeroy, Wash.; a brother, Glenn Taylor of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Mabel Music of Hot Springs and Ruth Rusk of Las Animas, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. |
