In the original will, which is still on file in the county clerk's office, Jefferson County, TN, the original clerk had trouble is writing the name Christen, Christiana, etc. However, upon looking at several other examples, It appears to me that her spelling should be <b>Christen</b>. In 1814, Christen Gann is called into court in Washington county to testify; the clerk spelled her name Christen. |
