Services for Gladys Cleo Gann, 83, Durant, who passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Abundant Life Temple. The Revs. Randell Drake and Leonard Freeman will officiate. Gann was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Sardis to Sam Bohanon and LueElla (Blevins) Bohanon. She attended schools in Sardis and Tushkahoma. She married Grady Gann in Antlers Oct. 8, 1934. She began her ministry at age 22, building and pastoring her first church in Sardis. She made herself available to minister anywhere and any time churches would call. She spent 60 years ministering. She pastored her last church here in Durant. Many lives were influenced and changed because of her love and dedication to the ministry. She was of the Holiness faith. She was a member of Abundant Life Temple. She will be greatly missed by her husband Grady of 67 years, as well as many family members and friends. She was so proud of her Choctaw heritage. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Bohanon; daughter Rosemary Dunmon; son Wayland Gann, and son-in-law Tommy Ramos. She is survived by her husband Grady of the home; daughters Clione Ramos, Durant, and Farene Freeman, Frisco, Texas; brother Bill Baucom, McAlester; sister Francine Gouez, Waco, Texas; grandchildren Melesa Ramos, Durant, Mark Ramos, Boswell, Clark and Lance Dunmon, Leonard, Texas, Vincent Freeman, Fort Worth, Texas, and Andrea Freeman, Tampa, Fla.; great-grandchildren Kacey and Tony Ramos, Durant, Shepard Ramos, Boswell, Brandon Dunmon, Leonard, and Kaleigh Dunmon, Kingston; son-in-law B.C. Dunmon, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Family hour will be 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Mark Ramos, Clark Dunmon, Lance Dunmon, Vincent Freeman, Tony Ramos and Brandon Dunmon.
