Note

!From Flo Grapatin: The only proof I have on Sarah Jo is what she told mother. I really believe that no one knows just who she is, not even Sarah Jo. The story I heard, when I was rather small is -- A woman and a small girl just appeared in Herdswitch, Arkansas one day. Some say the woman was blind, some say she was Indian. The people of the town were kind to her and she later married Mr. Bryson. There is a Lee Crider (of the Roller family) who knows that Sarah Jo was an Underwood.
