Ga nn died of typhoid fever at Triplett, Chariton Co., Mo., on Friday, Sep. 13, 1895, aged abou t 32 years. Deceased was born and raised in Sampsel Township, and was the son of Abram Gann , deceased, a pioneer settler, and was formerly a merchant and Wabash railroad agent at Samps el station. Two years ago he was sent by the Wabash road to take charge of the station at Tri plett. He was a telegraph operator and express agent there. Deceased was a most excellent ci tizen and stood high in the estimation of all who knew him. He leaves a wife, NEE Jones, an d several children. Mr. Gann was a cousin of Circuit Clerk J. E. Boucher, who went to Triplet t Friday night to assist in funeral arrangements. The remains were buried from Pleasant Ridg e church, near his old home in Sampsel township, at 3 p.m. Sept. 14.
