From Hilton Kennedy Obituary published in the Dallas Morning News on 25 Sep 2003 GANN, C.L., 85, went homne to be with the Lord September 24, 2003. He was born in Chico, Texas and lived in Irving since 1952. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served his Lord as a deacon for 49 years. Preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Lee, he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jo Gann, daughter Linda ORear and husband, David, son-in-law, Bob Lee, three grandchildren, Charles Wilcox and wife, Brooke, Julie Hickman and husband, John, and Brandon Lee, 3 great-grandchildren, Jakob, Ludas Gann, and Dennedy Wilcox and a 4th great grandchild to be born in November, as well as numerous nieces and bephews and many friends. Family will receive friends between 6 & 8 PM on Thursday, September 25 at Browns Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 26th at First Baptist Church of Irving. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
