Information on Arthur came from Kittson Hist Soc (Dec 21, 2002) Obit says he went to MN at age 18 - worked on Fort Farm near Kennedy for a number of years. Then became foreman at the Two Rivers Farm. Later bought quarter section of land on section 23 where he lived for rest of life. Died of kidney failure. Funeral services at St Patricks Church in Hallock - buried Greenwood Cemetery. Survied by wife and 2 children and sister Anna Keefe of Lindsay; 3 brothers: James of Brainard MN, William of Lindsay and Pat of Minot ND; two nephews Pat and Bernard McCabe of ND (That would be Uncle Pat and Uncle Ben -Grandpa Frank's brothers ) and neice Ann Crouse (sic) of Larimore ND. |
