Grandpa Louie manager lumber and brickyards, and worked in Winnipeg, Prince Albert, Minneapolis, and various other places. She came with them. But there was a lots a lot of visiting in California. Louis had seven brothers and three sisters, and several of them lived in British Columbia, California, and Saskatuwan, . |
| Note | From an email (Sept 13, 2008) from Isabella's granddaughter Judy Pickett: She and George were married Sept 20, 1871 in Wroxeter, Ontario. They had two children: Katherine Georgina (Kittie) Millen (my grandmother), b. 28 Oct. 1877 in Wroxeter, Ontario, and Levida B. (Vida) born 23 Apr 1876. George died two years after they moved to Grand Forks. He died 2 Feb 1883. Vida died 2 Aug 1903 in Grand Forks. Isabella died 6 Nov 1919 in Prince Albert, Saskatchwan while visiting relatives. She was buried in Grand Forks with George and Vida. My grandmother married Louis Campbell. Belle lived with them after Vida died. My dad, Ralph Louis Campbell, was an only child. I have several pictures of him with Belle and some great pictures of her as an older woman. |
