Appears 1760 Frederick Co VA; 1776 Guilford Co NC militia; 1778 buys 50 acres in Caswell Co NC, sells in 1779; daughter Dolly Gann born 1779; 1780 on Washington Co TN tax list. With son William Adam appears by formal first names in 1795 Superior Court case. In 1817 sells Washington Co land (Jacob Gann, a son by DNA matching, witnessed the deed); maybe moved in with son Daniel L. Gann next door or removed to Rhea Co with Jacob and Isham and son-in-law Thomas Gann b1764.
