Young of 3816 My g.g.g.g.grandmother, Naomi (Short) Magee married a Samuel Miles as her 2nd husband. Her 1st husband, Evan James Magee was killed in 1836 in Simpson Co., MS. The Westville News ran an article on the history of Westville in 1898 that had the following: "After Magee's death, Mr. Miles, father of S.J. Miles of Harrisville, married his widow Naomi Magee." I don't have any dates on Samuel but Naomi's was b. abt. 1795 Ga. - d. 17 Aug. 1859 Simpson Co.
