John Snell, Jr's wife was Elizabeth. No last Name. She is buried next to John Snell in Monroe County, Alabama. She is listed on the 1870 Federal Census for Monroe County. She was 72 years old. John died previous to this date. I am trying to confirm that John Jr. and Elizabeth were the parent of my ggggrandfather John William Snell. If so, John jr's father was also John Snell Sr. (Will 1835 Wilcox Cty., Ala.) John sr's father was Elias Snell B. abt 1719 Geramny. son of Gose Henry Snell betw. 1681-1689, Germany, of Orangeburg Distict, South Carolina (arrived from Germany 1735). I have additional information but am still trying to connect conclusively my line to John and Elizabeth. If you have any information that may help me I would appreciate your help.
