Francisco de Lima who was born in Villaviscosia, Portugal, and was previously godfather at the 1642 Parral baptism of Josepha de Vera, Regina's younger sister. Francisco de Lima married Maria Gonzales de Vera 1644 Parral. All reinforcing the Portuguese cultural impact we know affected the Gonzales family. March 31, 1655 Captain Andres del Hierro y Zereceda commanded to prepare for war against the Toboso Nation Antonia Gonzales de Vera married Bartolome Hierro Y Zerecede September 9, 1658 Parral-Chihuahua: "Bartolome del Hierro from this Valley of San Bartolome and Antonia Gonzales (Spanish in the margin) daughter of the late Domingo Gonzales, and of Regina de Vera, neighbor of this said valley."
