| Death | Obituary of Delpha L. Helmer of SAN BENITO, TX. - Delpha L. Helmer, age 94, was received into the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour on May 10, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born February 18, 1921 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Lola and John Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Glen Williams and Clint Williams, her loving husband, Joe Ed Helmer and son Richard Glen Helmer. One grandson, Christopher Helmer. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Lola Jean (David) Hovda and son Ronnie (Sherry) Helmer; daughter-in-law Cathy Helmer; grandchildren; Debbie Gordan, Kevin Helmer, Delpha Jo Clark, Shanna Mitchell, Tate Helmer, Jonathan Hovda, Joshua Hovda, Jordan Hovda and Danielle Summers and 15 great grandchildren. As Delpha wished there will be no traditional church service. Graveside service celebrating her life will be conducted Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1:30 at Mont Meta Memorial Park with Caroline Herbert officiating and soloist Mary Ann Frailing. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to any Alzheimer's Association . Special thanks go out to Love Assisted Living with Marian Love, Shelby Delancey and Mary Lou Sustaita for their care. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity Funeral Home, 1002 E.
