Mary died at Grand Forks, N. Dakota, USA on 21 Oct 1910. Their deaths are recorded on a gravestone in Fordwich Old Presbyterian Cemetery, Ontario, as follows:- "William Giles died July 30th 1902 aged 76 years. Also his wife Mary Scott died Oct 21 1910 aged 84 years. Buried at Grand Forks, N. Dakota." On reverse. " Rebecca Giles 1860-1934. Wife of William Murkar" As regards the alleged photo of William & Mary and indeed all the photos in that group , they were given to me by Mildred Giles whom I met when I was in Canada. Mildred, was not born a Giles, but married Elmer Giles who worked at one time on the family farm.
