Old Gum Springs Cemetery located off Manning Rd. at Crossroads of Gum Springs Rd & Old Pinola-Braxton County Rd. at railroad tracks north of D'Lo about 5 miles. Directions: From Hwy 49 South, Jackson or Brandon, Ms. Drive south on Hwy 49 to Business 149 in D'Lo. Go south-east on Hwy 149 towards D'Lo. Look for a right fork at general merchandise store in old town Braxton, turn right at fork onto Gum Springs Rd. go south to crossroads railroad tracks bisect Old Pinola-Braxton Rd and Gum Springs Rd. Immediately after railroad track take immediate right parallel to track on south side is Manning Rd. House across has historic marker of Old Gum Springs Church. Go about 1/4 mile after curve in road to entrance of Old Gum Springs Cemetery, now surrounded by silver wire hurricane fence.
