| Note | My father Earl Harris Morris born 1896 in Xenia, Illinois was the son of Martin Cambridge Morris and Priscilla Mae Gaddis Morris Seiler. Martin was born in Indiana in 1864 to Benjamin Morris and Amanda J. Wymore. Amamda was born 27 Feb 1838 Clay City Indiana. Died Feb 1925, burial Dale Cemetery Ridgeway, Missouri. They were married 25 Nov 1860. Children: Nathan Wymore Morris Bn: 3 Feb 1862, Ridgeway, Harrison, Mo. Died 27 Mar 1895. Married 22 Sept 1886, to Mirands Altic, bn ca1866 Ridgeway, Mo. Martin Cambridge Morris Bn: 11 April 1864,this account says Ridgeway, Mo., death announcement said he was born in Indiana. I don't know which is correct. Elle Belle Morris Bn:6 June 1872, Ridgeway, Missouri. Died 2 Feb 1955, Ridgeway. Buried: Dale Ceme, near Bethany. Married 25 Oct 1892, John Critchfield Counrtney near Bethany. Amamda J. Wymore was the daughter of William "Billy" Wymore 1803-1870 buried in Dale Ceme. near Bethany. One account said he came from Germany, 1850! census states Kentucky as birthplace. Her motherwas Susan A. Wools. No information on her birhtdate or death. Billy Wymore was married three times. Also my 1st cousin Betty Lou Morris Brown, daughter of my father's brother Charles Gaddis Morris died December 10, 2008. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois April 23, 1922. Mother's name was Lucille ? Don't know what happened to her. Betty 1st married ? Fellwock, nothing known about him. 2nd marriage to Louis Brown, not date of marriage or info on him either.
