Note: In the 1900 census Frank Dunn says he was born in New York and his parents in Germany. This is a mistake ... the family is clearly Frank and Ellen's family. Frank's parents were born in Ireland. In the marriage record of his daughter Elizabeth in 1924, she stated that her father Frank was born in the US.

Residence

I believe this entry is for Old Francis' daughter Elizabeth with her husband Patrick and baby Francis, living in Rochester. Patrick was a blacksmith. The ages are not quite old enough but the subsequent census in Rochester tend to support this belief.

Shared note

CHILDREN of Elizabeth are listed in 1871 census and also in Vic Co land records, document 5557, in 1895 where the Dunns turned over all rights to W1/2 Lot 19 in the 9th Conc. This is land that was given to old Francis' son Francis in the will of 1862. The Dunns bought another part of the concession and all of the rights to the 100 acres were comingled in this document and turned over to Thomas McCabe, son of Francis (Jr.). Thomas was the only son of Francis (Jr.) and Margaret Martin to remain in Ops after 1883.

By 1895, Patrick Dunn was dead and the remaining Dunns had moved to Rochester NY.

The 1900 census in Rochester, Monroe NY listed in the 15th Ward, Sup Dist 19 En Dist 96: Frank Dunn, Ellen Dunn with children
