Page 149--Nov. 3, 1806. William Evans, dec'd. Stephen and William Evans appointed temporary Admrs.

Page 197--July 2, 1809. Petition of William and Stephen Evans that Micajah Bennett, guardian of James, minor of Wm. Evans, dec'd., be summoned to account for his neglect as such.

1813: Page 38--Peter Bennett and Weaver Cotton, Security for Micajah Bennett, guardian of James Evans, ask to withdraw.

Page 47--Micajah Bennett, guardian of James Evans dismissed and Stephen Evans is appointed. Charles Hansford appointed guardian of his children, George, James, and Nancy, to receive their portion of the estate of James Willis, late of Wilkes Co., dec'd., according to the will.

Page 48--May 3, 1813. William Evans appointed guardian of James Evans all parties agreeing.

Event

Frances and Peter Bennett finally received her inheritance from Shadrack Pinkston's estate.

Media object

The Bennetts lived west of Washington on Kettle Creek and the Pinkstons lived south of them. The area is still called Tyrone today.
