LEO J. SCHWAB Obituary

Leo J. Schwab, 70, of 1306 Grand Ave., Manitowoc died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James DeWitt will officiate and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Schwab was born Dec. 29, 1899, in the Town of Eaton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Edward and Margaret McCabe Schwab. He married Lorretta Reininger, Oct. 27, 1925, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. He was a self-employed carpenter before retiring. He was a member of Carpenters Local 849 for 27 years, St. Andrew Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus Council 710, Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Frank, of Chilton, and nieces and nephews. A sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where wake services will be at 8 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus Holy Name Society, and friends. Manitowoc Herald Times, Manitowoc, Wis. June 23, 1970
