Note

From an email from Marcia Bignall:

Birth: 17 April 1747, St. John's Parish Records, Baltimore Co MD; see also "Baltimore County Families 1659-1759" by Robert Barnes.

Death: Fairfax Co VA Will Book C, p129, estate inventoried 17 May 1771. John Pinkston(e) was named administrator of Greenberry's estate 19 Mar 1771.

Greenberry Pinkston(e) sued Thomas Wren for assult & battery 15 May 1769 in Fairfax Co (source?)

Note

Some researchers have named Greenberry Pinkston as Shadrack's father. That is almost surely incorrect. The two were about the same age and the estate inventory for Greenberry would seem to indicate he was unmarried. [email from Marcia Bignall, Pinkston researcher.]
