Gerald Blake McCabe, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 in Amarillo.

Mass will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. McCabe was born Jan. 18, 1937 in Harlingen and had been a resident of Pampa since 1969. Gerald received a BS degree in geology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. He served in the U. S. Army from 1960-1962.

He married Jimmie Lou Cuddeback on June 1, 1957 in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death on Sept. 5, 2007. He later married Evon Flippo on Sept. 7, 2012 in Pampa.

He was a sales manager for Redman, retiring in 2002. Gerald was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and Frank Keim Council of Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Evon, of the home; 3 daughters, Janelle McCabe of Denton, Teresa McClintock and husband Mark of San Angelo, and Paula McCabe of Amarillo; a son, James Blake McCabe of Austin; a stepdaughter, Connie Richardson of Colorado Springs, CO; a stepson, Duane Richardson and wife Mary of Butler, OK; a sister, Patsy McClure and husband Jerry of Burkburnett; 10 grandchildren, Nina, Cory, Ian, Catron, Ryan, Mason, Jennifer, Clint, Jacob, and Eilana; 6 great grandchildren, 4 step granddaughters, and 9 step great grandchildren.
