UAir Collections › Documentary Relations of the Southwest › Master Index . Serial Number 100-00670 Title Mandamiento que se alisten a la guerra algunos capitanes. Author(s) Davila y Pacheco, Enrique Date 03-31-1655 Documentation March 31, 1655 orig. Signed. Summary Possibly a very useful document. The governor has issued what appears to be a general order for mobilization of military focus in the Valle San Bartolome to punish rebellious Tobasso Indians, whose uprising is making itself felt every day while causing much damage and many deaths in the realm. The conscription degree lists, perhaps, majority of encomenderos in the area and stipulates that failure to respond will result in the reversion of their haciendas to the realm. The responses are recorded, most Haciendados preferring to supply a soldier, rather than serving themselves. (C.
