The Griffith's House Books Records for Knocknaboley (FHL 2356199) show that James Saunders' house and land had been assumed by John Griffin of Knocknaboley. In the year 2000, 150 years later, the locals of Knocknaboley still knew that the Griffin property was formerly farmed by a Saunders family. |
