In the book, MS 6082, found in the NLI, an 1827 census of tenants on the Fitzwilliam estate shows that the only tenants on the Andrew Saunders lease were James Saunders(Farmer) and Michael Collins (Mason). Thus James and his sister's familes were the only residents left on the lease. There may have been undertenants that were not listed. And in the Tithe Applotment of 1824 for Knocknaboley there is an entry - Andrew Saunders & Collins - which indicates that Mary Saunders Collins' family lived on Andrew Saunder's Lease on the Coolatin Estate.
